Hallmandale Amber's Pride is proudly co-owned by Panache Sporthorses, and Shallowmyre. Panache's foundation Hackney Horse stallion represents some of the finest and most successful Hackney Horses in North America. JR (his barn name) typifies the best characteristics of the Hackney Horse, including movement, substance, conformation, soundness and temperament. As you can see from his photos, not only does he have beautiful balance conformation, but his action affords both animation and reach.

JR is one of a very limited resource of Hackney Horses not carrying the direct blood of Dufferin Haven, making him an excellent "out cross" for those mares linebred for that bloodline.

JR came to Panache Sport Horses in March 1997, to start his 3rd career, this time as a breeding stallion. His first 8 years were spent in Canada, mostly in the show barn of George Culliton as a driving and In-hand show stallion.

The second phase of JR's life was in the dressage barn of Eric Schneider, in Ohio. During these 8 years, JR was a treasured member of Eric's collection of fine Hackney Horses. It was at this facility that JR became a riding horse.

At Shallowmyre, JR joined his paternal half sister Meadowvale Amber's McBeth, our foundation Hackney Horse. Due to his advancing age, JR is now offered at public stud via transported semen only, at private treaty. Please contact us for more information.
